Breaking News!
On November 15th, 2011 Seattle’s own Monogamy Party will unleash their explosive debut EP “Pus City” on Good to Die Records.
Live, Monogamy Party is a force of nature. Lead vocalist Kennedy punishes the audience with his body, as he belts out impassioned stream-of-consciousness rants. Behind him bassist/vocalist Yos-wa and drummer Keith (no last names, please) blast out a powerful, sludgy, punk-inspired attack. It’s unrelenting, aggressive, and impossible to ignore.
The band has managed to capture its raw energy in the studio, working with producer Chris Proff (Strong Killings, Mercy Ties, Ravenna Woods) on “Pus City”. Like their live performances, it is a scintillating slab of controlled chaos. It’s a record and a band that demand your attention.
“Pus City” has been pressed as a 10” LP, and for maximum volume and sound quality cut at 45 rpm on classic black vinyl. The record will be available for purchase via online mail order at store.goodtodierecords.com (Now available for pre-order!), in most local independent record stores including Easy Street and Sonic Boom, as well as in digital format at all major online distribution points including monogamyparty.bandcamp.com.
There are also a few chances to get your hands on “Pus City” at little early as Monogamy Party has booked 3 local record release shows the weekend prior to November 15th, so mark your calendars and spread the word!
