ABSOLUTE MONARCHS Debut 2nd Track From 1 Via Scene Point Blank
Seattle, Washington-based indie punk mavens the ABSOLUTE MONARCHS’ previously announced debut full length 1 has been confirmed to hit the streets this April 17th via Seattle’s Good to Die Records.
On 1, the Absolute Monarchs balance loose discordance with well-anchored melodic hooks delivered with genuine emotion and energy. This impressive debut showcases a unique and brazen mixture of noisy yet accessible post-punk and indie rock that grabs hold from scorching album opener “Attack” (premiered via Seattle’s The Stranger HERE) down to the final moments of album closer “Bled Out” before loosening its grip. Recorded and mixed by Matt Bayles at Red Room Studio, and mastered by Levi Seitz at Black Belt Mastering in Seattle,1’s ten slabs of calculated brilliance capture the ABSOLUTE MONARCHS’ live energy with an ultra-sharp delivery.
Today Scene Point Blank is hosting the first public listen of further proof that the ABSOLUTE MONARCHS’ are one of the most exciting rock acts to emerge from Seattle in recent years. Treat your ears to the infectious “To Hell, Let’s Masquerade” RIGHT HERE.
