What people are saying about ‘RED WORLD’:

“…this album is difficult to place genre-wise. And perhaps that’s the point, but either way we’re loving it.” – IMPOSE

“Merso explores everything from hooky prog-rock homages in punchy songs like “Reunion Show” to the post-rock vastness of opener “Astoria.” The three-part title track alone spans a wealth of sounds—part of Sennholz’s insistence that “genres are stupid.”  – SEATTLE WEEKLY

“Red World brings the loud, but in more controlled spurts
They have definitely given into the prog, because moments of this, sound like a modern update of early King Crimson, with some psychedelic moments, and those aforementioned controlled bursts of fury.” – NEW NOISE MAGAZINE

“Dark, dissident, and distorted…” – KEXP.ORG

Dark, surreptitious…the four gents making up the group have no trouble soundtracking the more sinister aspects of life…with a torrent of pummeling, down-tuned riffage. But they’re also more than capable of changing gears, from bewitching math-prog breakdowns to relatively straightforward psych rock.” – THE STRANGER
